AI for the work accountants do every month

Mimo builds AI agents for accounting firms. The agents handle the recurring work, like VAT returns and month-end close, so accountants spend their time reviewing instead of preparing. Most of their customers are UK firms, and the software runs on top of the ledgers those firms already use.

The company changed faster than the website

Mimo had restructured its products and the way it explains them. The site still described the old company. They needed one that matched the new version, without throwing away what the old pages had built up in search.

One designer, the whole site

I worked with Mimo in two separate rounds, about three weeks in total. They brought me in for the first one and came back for the second. I designed the site, built it in Framer and made most of the UI visuals you see on it.

The pages share a lot of structure, especially across products and workflows, so I built them from reusable components. Rebuilding the same section by hand ten times felt like the wrong approach for a company that automates repetitive work.

I also designed the interactions, which do a lot of the explaining for a product you can't really photograph. The less visible part was the move itself: redirects from the old structure to the new one and on-page SEO across the new pages, so nobody landing from an old link ended up on a dead page.

Where it landed

Mimo now has a site that describes the company they are today, built from pieces they can reuse as the product keeps changing.
